Welcome to PriceXtra, the website developed by national charity UK CEED, which helps you chose products to save you money and help the environment at the same time.

How does it work?  First choose a product category from the menu above or below (e.g. electrical).  Then choose the type of item you are looking for (e.g. television). 

You can then choose products by product size, manufacturer and product name.  By clicking on each product you can see how its environmental performance rates and its likely running costs.  If you want to compare several products side by side click on 'add to comparator' for each one and then click on 'view comparator'. 

You can also go to a Top 10 for each product category to see at a glance which are the highest rated products by environmental performance or running costs.
